PPE / RPE

 Workers can be exposed to many different airborne hazardous substances, and the risk will depend on the work activities and environment. Whether PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) or RPE (Respiratory Protective Equipment) is worn will depend on the risk assessment findings and whether other precautions can prevent and control exposure, e.g. engineering controls.
